VAMP is a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride of a play that follows blocked, newly-divorced, house-bound writer, Chloe, as she attempts to sort through the clutter of her life. That 'life' consists of a wreck of an apartment, a psychotic cat named Entropy and two imaginary houseguests, 'Spunky Old Gal' and 'Jesus in a Bathrobe' — they escaped from the awful scripts she reads to pay the bills. The cosmos begin to shift when Chloe meets Angela, an astro-physicist, and Chloe to starts experiencing life again… until a 'darker' side of Angela emerges. The piece boils down to learning to accept the murky baggage of not only those we love, but also of ourselves.
